A Journey Rooted in Empathy
My name is Ayra. I am in grade 3 and I love to read books. I have realised that my journey of exploring emotions was made easier with books and stories. I want to share my journey with other kids and help them in their journey.
As I undertake this path, I will learn while doing and in the process help my club-mates in the best possible manner that I can.
Today, I run the club with the goal of making it easier for kids to be aware of their emotions and give themselves permission to feel the emotions. Through carefully selected books in my reading club, I read a book every session and curate a question for each book that everyone can leave with to help themselves understand an emotion. I guide our explorers to understand empathy, kindness, and self-awareness, ensuring they grow not just as readers, but as emotionally resilient individuals.
